Chien Chi Tow Unveils Final Rebranded Flagship Outlet at Bendemeer, Marking a New Chapter in Heritage Wellness
Singapore, 25 July 2025 – Homegrown Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) brand Chien Chi Tow has officially completed its rebranding journey with the unveiling of its newly renovated flagship outlet at Bendemeer. This completion marks the final milestone, which began in 2022 as we embarked on our rebranding project. It reflects the brand’s vision to evolve from its traditional roots into a modern wellness destination for today’s audiences, underscoring Chien Chi Tow’s continued commitment from physical healing to spatial harmony.
To commemorate the occasion, beloved local celebrity Edmund Chen, who was involved in the brand’s early transformation efforts in 2013, returned to celebrate this full-circle moment as Chien Chi Tow’s honourable care ambassador. In a special tribute, he shared:
“For more than twelve years ago, I had the privilege of working with Chien Chi Tow and Grandmaster Lim Choon Huat, who impressed me with his mastery in TCM Tuina and dedication to musculoskeletal wellness and care.
What started in 1969 as a martial arts school has grown into a reputable wellness brand offering postnatal care, pediatric tuina, acupuncture, herbal medicine and more. It has become a household name in traditional healthcare.
On 19 July 2025, I was honoured to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Bendemeer outlet. Chien Chi Tow has remained true to its roots while embracing innovation, earning the trust of generations.”
Today, the brand operates 6 TCM clinics, supported by over 100 staff, all contributing to the health and wellbeing of our community.
The Bendemeer outlet, the very first Chien Chi Tow location, was purposefully kept in its original look until now, allowing it to be the final outlet to adopt the brand’s new identity. It stands out with its expanded herbal prescription area, spacious rooms, a specialised clinic for active aging, and a modern herbal steam therapy machine that replaces the once-familiar wooden box.
Redesigned with a minimalist clean outline interior, the space aims to be more inviting for both the younger and loyal audiences and provide a modern experience, while retaining the core principles of TCM. The result sets the tone for a new era where tradition meets innovation, offering an upgraded wellness experience while keeping the heritage intact.
The grand reopening on 19 July 2025 was a celebration of this transformation, bringing together trusted community partners, wellness advocates, and heritage champions. Hosted by celebrity personality Marcus Chin, the event saw participation from local KOLs and members of the public, who enjoyed complimentary neck and shoulder massages, interactive games, and goodie bags filled with Chien Chi Tow products. setting the tone for a new era where tradition meets innovation.
